AVW to drop Impressario in favour of QAxis

AVW are retiring their Impressario motion control system after twenty-two years.

Impressario has been used on countless productions and venues all over the world, but it is time for it to be updated.

QAxis was introduced in 2018 as a successor to Impressario, using more readily available parts and resources, which the ageing Impressario system was struggling with, and it has already had four successful productions with three more in the pipeline, including its West End Debut with Only Fools and Horses at the Haymarket later this year.

Impressario will continue to be supported by AVW for as long as they are able to do so.
