We are looking for Senior Lighting Control Technician (Grade 3a) to join us.
Your emphasis in this role will be lighting control projects, and you will support all aspects of lighting control platforms in the theatres and the wider building. You will work closely with other team members to provide regular updates, support on issues relating to programming and assist with the delivery and development of informal workplace training.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Excellent networking experience, including switch configuration and the setup of servers and hosted services. A good working knowledge of copper and fibre network hardware
Advanced knowledge of lighting control platforms (ETC Eos/Apex Family consoles) and an in-depth knowledge of modern control systems, extracting relevant information from logs and advanced diagnostic reporting in a theatrical environment
Ability to diagnose and rectify faults on control systems and networking equipment in a systematic and methodical manner
Experience of supervising a small team of technicians, job prioritising and effective time management
Experience of using industry specific software (Vectorworks, Moving Light Assistant, Lightwright) as well as some knowledge of lighting visualisation packages and server licencing
An ability and willingness to share knowledge to help develop the skills of colleagues and the wider technical departments
